What is Beard Balm?

Beard Balm is a versatile product which offers a number of benefits for your beard. First and foremost, it’s a moisturizing product, which aids in both the styling of your beard and its overall health. This is also an ideal product for men looking to add fullness to their beard, as it will make your facial hair appear thicker. With Hadras Ponim Beard Balm, you can tame and shape your facial hair to address any wild hair issues while ensuring it receives the necessary moisture.

In order to understand all the benefits of Hadras Ponim Beard Balm, it is important that you understand what each of its ingredients does.
The beeswax:
Beeswax in beard balm provides your beard with hold and styling properties. In addition, beeswax also helps to lock in the moisture given off by the other ingredients in the balm.
The butter:
This isn’t your typical dairy butter that you may have in the fridge. Instead, the butter used in our beard balm are shea and cocoa butter. This stuff smells incredible.
Shea and cocoa add a number of benefits when it comes to beard balm. Firstly, they’re extremely rich in moisture. Second, only to carrier oils that I will cover next, butter help provide an ample amount of moisture for your beard. This is critical, especially if you live in a cool or dry climate. The butter in beard balm makes sure that your beard will remain healthy throughout the day.

Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, butter improves the spreadability of the balm itself.
Simply put, if butter wasn’t included in beard balm, trying to apply the balm would be an incredibly tough process and it would take a very long time for the actual wax to melt.
Carrier oils:
Carrier oils are where you are getting much of the benefits of the beard balm. Complimenting the butter used, carrier oils will make your beard incredibly soft and healthy looking. Carrier oils core purpose is to nourish your beard.
What are carrier oils?
Carrier oils come from several different types of plants.
Let's take for example jojoba oil.
Jojoba oil is produced from the seed of the jojoba plant, a shrub native to the deserts of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico.
The oil mimics your natural body oils (sebum) and is often used as an additive in many (natural) cosmetic products, particularly moisturizers, lotions, conditioners, and shampoos.
It is the most common carrier oil among beard oils.
Jojoba oil has a plethora of vitamins and minerals that are mighty good for your hair and skin (B vitamins, vitamin E, zinc, copper, chromium, iodine, and selenium). Some of its benefits are:
• Fights acne
• Regulates skin oil production
• Moisturizes
• Cleanses
• Conditions
• Anti-inflammatory
• Anti-fungal
• Provide sunburn relief
Essential oils:
Essential oils provide nearly all of the aroma to the beard balm. Ranging from woodsy scents to peppermint or citrus scents, essential oils gives beard balm its incredible aroma.
This begs the question: Are essential oils more than just scents? Yes!
In fact, our woodsy beard balm contains cedar wood as an essential oil. Not only will it smell terrific, but it is also cedarwood reliever.
Furthermore, not only does cedar essential oil treat itchiness, it has the tremendous benefit of treating acne as well.
